Hi Sena,
Your section is a good starting point to figure out both the space and how the structure could work. I think we need to spend some time at your desk to sketch out how the fins might work and where the glass is inside the fins.
The section would also be a great technical drawing for your unique drawing. I think you’ll need to show the adjacent “down” unit as well because the two will be connected at the shared wall (and because it will show your design well) but we can discuss. Some other items to clarify:
– foundation, you can review the Structure Post
– Agreed on the concrete walls given how much you have underground, maybe also the concrete roof, but I’d like to discuss that along with the wood “fins” to make sure we’re getting enough wood structure into the project.
– The lower unit roof is pretty visible from the upper unit, is it also accessible from the balcony? Planted or otherwise made more aesthetically appealing?
– Not exactly technical, but I’d like to review your diagrams. Looking at your section it seems like some simple diagrams showing clearly your concrete box, your fins, etc. would help in the presentation.
