Formal & Experiential. The assignment for this precedent study is to visually analyze 3-5 buildings by a well-known architect and distill the major idea(s) down to a free-hand diagram sketch. Below are the architects to select from.
In-class sketching on Wednesday 3/11. Create a blog post by 12:00pm on Thursday 3/12 containing diagram sketches of 3 to 5 projects from your architect along with a photo of each precedent project that clearly shows the formal idea you’ve sketched. Please also include a link to each project on the architect’s website. Note: if you are using the same photo from this blog post you do not need to upload again, it is already in our media library and you can just select it.
