Phase 3: Ruth Muniz

Overlap: This model is organic and natural. The main idea is that eggshells never break in the same manner so the spaces that are created with them always vary. Some of the eggshells create spaces of their own which are more public. However, when the eggshells overlap, more private spaces are created as well as walking surfaces.

Bind/Weave: This model uses the logic from the way spoils of thread are organized and stored away. In the model, the spoils are binded with one another and then arranged to create curves. The curves create and weave different spaces. From the curves, seating spaces and walkway spaces are created.

Gather: Cupcake wrappers can be easily molded and shaped. In this model, the wrappers were pinched in the center creating an enclosed space with two openings on both ends. The space gathers people inside the wrapper. The cupcake wrappers are then arranged in away in which all the ends join with each other creating a central space that also gathers people. There is also a wrapper that acts as stairs leading to the second level in which people can walk on the surface of the joined wrappers.
