Bundle: This model has bundles of straws which represent wind pipes to create an experience through walking and through auditory senses. The bundle of “wind pipes” create different sounds depending on where in the shared space an individual is located. There are various groupings of bundles which create pathways for people to maneuver around. There are more open and public spaces, and some more enclosed and secluded spaces, but all easily accessible which adds to the shared experience.
Laminate: This model is stacked crackers which creates different levels of experience. There is a ground level experience under the stairs which doesn’t seem like an obvious occupiable space at first glance but once someone walks up to the space they can see that it can be walked under. There is also the stair area which transports an individual from the ground to the higher level. Lastly, there are viewing spaces where an individual can spot once they walk up the stairs. The various ways the crackers are stacked creates this for of lamination.
Gather: This model creates two defined spaces. The interior space where the paper clips wrap around, and the exterior space where people can still occupy the structure. The interior space is a wide open area for gathering but is still very defined in the way the paper clips enclose the space. The exterior can be occupied within the individual ends of the paper clip. The spaces created by the wrapping of the paper clips entice people into the space and gather people together.
