Model 1: Aluminum Pan

For the Aluminum Tin Model the sharing verbs I chose were Weave and Gather. I cut the entire vertical element from an Aluminum Pan and used its curves to form private spaces. There are two spaces that are more private and enclosed, with the pan enclosing and overhanging the space. Then there are two spaces that are more open and airy, with the pan just creating the walls to the space. This model represents Gather because the Aluminum in creates four different and unique spaces of gathering. This model also represents Weave because the spaces themselves weave and alternate from more closed and heavy private spaces to more spacious and light private spaces.

Model 2: Cinnamon Roll Package

The sharing verbs I used for the Cinnamon Roll Package were Overlap and Bind. For this model I used two different sized packages and bound them together visually creating one seamless swirl. The model acts as a space need to discover. The user needs to crawl or crouch to get into the created space. But once in this space, the larger swirling walls guide the user throughout. This model represents Bind, because of the two separate packages bound together to create one space. The model also represents Overlap because of how the swirls vertically overlap each other above the users head.

Model 3: Crayons

For the Crayon model the shaving verbs I used were Bundle and Weave. The purpose of the space created was to have the user weave in and out of the crayon’s. I used the shape of the crayon tips to balance the crayons and make an occupiable space underneath them. Also because crayons are used out of wax, I wanted to emphasize their ability to melt. I played with the form of the crayon by melting it, creating these natural pools wax. By doing so, this made a more organic path of circulation for the user. This model represents Bundle because of the bundled group of crayons. This model also represents Weave because the use must wave in and out of the crayons themselves and the melted wax on the ground while walking through.
