Bind — it is a bind because the colorful balconies bind ( combine) the units together, as they are so close together. In that way people can communicate with one another. Laminate — it’s laminate because the shifting of paired units are laminated by the court and also because they are put close together that creates the uncomfortableness in private areas.Mix — it is mix because of the mix of programs all throughout of the building. There isn’t a level where it is just one program, the different programs of (Office, DAC, retail, cafe, housing, and play) are all mixed around with each other (exceptions of the top floor that just housing)Intersect — since the facilities are so close to each other and they provide different opportunity like : entertainment, dining, working , etc.. they attract people. It means the the functions are interesting. The commercial area intersect the private residential area. Blend — it is because in this building there is a smooth transition between urban and environment. So the building itself blends those two with it’s landscape form.Gather — it is gather because the project doesn’t have individual balconies but terraces. There are skydecks in each floor that provide a space for gathering for the residences. And there are pathways that connect two buildings together that lead to the sky decks.Bundle — you can see bundle in layering of floors. The ground and second levels contain commercial level like: offices, support spaces for the veterans, bike storage , parking large and a public courtyard. Then goes four residential floor and the uppermost level has a green roof, large public patio and edible garden with panoramic views of the area.Weave –circulation weaves around and into the building. Paths go to the public community space and to the private apartments. Overlap — its because the building has a central axis and the over which each floor rotates. Basically each floor has a different floor plan and different programs so they all overlap each other. Merge — it is merge because the units are modules and people can buy combinations of the modules over different floors and move walls around the way they like. They can also sell their modules to neighbors.
