Phase 0: Michael Ocejo

I was born and raised in Miami Florida. Roughly since the age of 7,  I wanted to go into the career of architecture. Call it cliche, but what first inspired me to study architecture  as a kid were legos. As I grow up I’ve became more interested in the built environment which surrounded around me back home. Miami being a relatively young city always had some form of new construction happening; which intrigue me to want to learn even more about architecture. Since coming to school here at IIT, I’ve learned that architecture is so much more then just designing building; it’s about how one’s built environment can influence their interacted and perception within a space. My hobbies outside of architecture include traveling, reading, and cooking
