When I went to the site, I though it’s a quiet, relaxing location for residence. The site is opening to three side, one is facing to park, no tall building nearby, with good sunlight. Therefore, when I designed my aggregation, I wanted to open the space of the site. The units were separated to two groups, which gave a readily accessible circulation. The crossing shape give benefit to piping, also reduced disturbance between units. There’s a small courtyard between each unit, which with some plants with height. They allowed each unit not only has private space, but also has connection to each other and outside. These courtyards were surrounded by low fences, so that keep distance from the glass wall. The designing of the units is mainly about two systems, columns and panels, work in two different layers. The panels are divided into solid and transparent, and the columns are also divided into independent and engaged.
