Phase 4: Damla Sucuka

I started my review by describing the relationship between my 3D collage model and my module design. The space that formed between two buildings and how it created a private but an open space inspired me to focus on the community of people suffering from social anxiety. The panel of reviewers seemed to like this approach and recommended me to think more about my aggregations and how I can make the community’s transition to being social, easier and slower by creating various spaces that they can interact.

They seemed to like my third approach (the aggregation with the three module clusters). They recommended me to focus on the space in the middle of the clusters and how I can utilize it.

They also liked how I showed the different connection types of my modules with the frames in the aggregation. They asked me to think more about the connection type in the first aggregation (one on the left) and maybe find more ways and places to use it.

During the review, I also showed how I explored how the frames create spaces by different connections or crossing each other.

The panel of reviewers liked the language of the overall structure that is created with the frames. But they recommended me to use less frames and use the frames to define the structure. They asked me to try creating spaces that come together with two different frames crossing each other on the inside too.

I will try to focus more on my idea of creating different types of spaces with different aggregations and module connections, and think about how I can shape the space that is defined by the frames outside the module more.
