I wanted to continue the idea of the gradation from the collage and the collage model. I did this with a banding that connects the different programs of the units with volumeteric elements that transition into planar elements. The bands signify the openings. The program is laid out into entering a main living space that is open to the kitchen and the dining space. The bathroom space is accessible via the living space and the bedroom space.
In the aggregations, I wanted preserve the patio space. Therefore, I had to organize the aggregations in a linear fashion.
In the review, I had comments on the possibility of expanding on the concept of using the banding in my aggregations. Creating an hierarchy of the banding is a way that I would like to explore when continuing to develop on this in the future.
