My site located in an intersection between 32nd Street and S union Ave.
The surrounding buildings are not tall, its only 2 balconies and mostly are within a flat roof.
I found out that the windows are really unique and beautiful over there, that’s why I mostly focused on the window.
When I first went to the site, there was one window really attract me, which the window faced in three direction and installed in the corner of the building. I feel people can get really good views if they look from inside to the outside. And this popped out window doesn’t make this building look weird, but made the building round harmoniously.
The main part of my collage is the shape of the window. I kind of shift the center part to the left. Because the density of buildings in south side of 32 trees is less than north side. I also made more windows on right side to emphasize this idea.
For my model, I focus more on the window which around the corner. As you can see, once the layer goes up, the windows get more and more higher, the depth gets more and more shallow.
