In this project, our group aim to create a relaxing and peaceful space where people can be isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city and the boredom of life, enjoy the lakeside scenery. The pavilion will sit on the beach by the lake. It has adjustable “wings” and seat, which allow it to adapt to the needs of different people.

For my two sheets of drawing of the pavilion, I used different technique to show it. The first drawing shows the elevation, plan and section of the pavilion. I added shadow into the drawing to show the position of each pieces and lighting effect s brought by the pavilion. At the same time, I also placed scale figures in the drawing so that the audience could understand the size of the pavilion and its interaction with people.

In the second sheet, I drew two perspectives with rendering, to give the audience an intuitive vision of the general shape of the pavilion. In addition, I drew two detail diagrams showing how each part of the pavilion to be connected. This helps the audience understand how our pavilion can be adjusted to the shape what people want it to be.
